I do not agree with the statement of DASSK in this regarding cease-fire is the first the step of building peace. Because Kachin and KIO had suffered 17 year cease-fire which resulted in resuming of civil again 09 June 2011. This 17 year cease-fire had caused a lot of downfall to the Kahins, its natural resourses, human right and oppression/bully by the Burmese regime government army/troops. So why are we going to repeat the same mistake in this present and future of Kachin politics.
